Eagle of Hope is a 501 (C) (3) non profit organization formed in the state of Maryland November 2003.
Devoted
to providing sufficient clean water to less privileged villages in Africa and improving sanitation conditions and hygiene practices by the year 2015.
Around the world more than 1.1 billion people do not have safe water to drink, 300 million of them live in Africa.
According to World Health Organization (WHO) every 15 seconds a child dies from illness related to unsafe water.
In many parts of Africa, access to clean water is scarce; villagers must then resort to streams, rivers and shallow wells for cooking, washing, and drinking.

With an already weakened immune system, lack of clean water, does not allow those suffering from malaria, typhoid, HIV/AIDS and other illnesses to properly take medication, additionally exposing them to dangerous water-borne diseases. Unsafe water is also an obstacle to education. Water-related illnesses keep children out of school. Finding clean water is a central daily task of children, girls and women in many parts of Africa—if they are fetching water, they are not in the classroom. Eagle of Hope works directly with community leaders, who provide long-term management of the projects. Once the community leaders learn the projects, they will teach others. This is the spirit of Eagle of Hope partnership in action that will create healthy communities and thriving economies to spread benefits worldwide. We focus our work into two clear programs, provision of CLEAN WATER and improving SANITATION CONDITIONS .

Our Mission
The organization is found for the purpose of providing safe and sufficient clean water for the poor and improving sanitation conditions and hygiene practices.
Mostly for underprivileged women and children, in African villages that travel 5 to 7 miles daily to the stream in search of clean water.
